My slightly-used copy of Transformation by Carol Berg just arrived! sunlit_stone  recommended it to me while we were discussing our mutual love of "falling in loyalty" stories (like The King of Attolia) and after reading the first two chapters in the Amazon preview I caved in and bought my own copy. I didn't expect it to arrive until Monday at least, so I'm beyond excited to hopefully spend a good chunk of the rest of my weekend sinking into it. :)

IIRC I found it in a second-hand bookstore, possibly while on vacation, so it came into my life more or less by chance too :) I'm glad to spread the fun!
