maplemoodSo I FINALLY finished another Star Wars fic! It's not Reylo (believe me, I tried) and it also rounds out to only about 830 words, but for the first time I feel like I've actually succeeded in kinda-sorta-maybe getting inside Kylo/Ben's head. So, yeah, all things considered, I'm pretty happy with it.

Summary: When Ben Solo is eight years old, his uncle takes him to the beach to skip rocks.
It seems like the only way I can break into fandoms is by starting with gen fics and then working my way up to shippier stuff. Oh, well. Aging, slightly gruff Luke may be one of my favorite characters to write anyway.
