Four Things
Apr. 17th, 2017 11:23 pmBecause I realized I should do a better job of introducing myself. Here are four (hopefully interesting) facts about me and the stuff I like.
• I’ve been writing more or less steadily for about nine years. Most of that time I worked on original fiction (and most of it wasn’t very good). I’ve only just started writing fanfic, though I’ve been reading it for a couple years. Currently my favorite fandoms are Daredevil, Pacific Rim, and Jessica Jones. That said, I’m not picky; if something’s well-written I’ll probably like it.
• My favorite drink of all time is Sprite. Especially grape-flavored Sprite.
• Crack pairings give me life. If a couple has no chance of ever getting together in canon (think Matt/Jessica or Foggy/Elektra), chances are I probably ship them. And in the end, it’s not about actually wanting an insane pairing to be canon—I just like imagining situations in which that kind of relationship just might work out. (Other favorites: Trish/Malcolm and Mako/Newt.)
• My favorite colors are yellow, green, blue, purple, and pink. The Outsiders is one of my absolute favorite books. Logan broke my heart in the best possible way. I’m in college, hoping to teach high school English once I get out. I like emotional stories full of family drama and complicated female characters. I like complicated characters, period.
