Or the "Lisa Castle meets Laura Kinney and they work through their issues together" AU of my heart. This is the first fic in what I hope will turn into a series; it ended up being quite a bit longer than I'd originally thought. Still had a ball working on it.

Maybe she wished he’d told her a few more things, like how close these bad people were, or that the little girl couldn’t (wouldn’t) speak English. Or that she could pop a knife out of her knuckle as easily as Lisa cracked hers.
