I think I really need to see this one a second time. The first time I was so distracted by pacing issues* that I didn't really take in all the facets of the relationships going on. *The film really seemed to stagnate while they were on Ego's planet, at least imo. Waiting for the other shoe to drop re: Ego was agonizing.
I might see if I can rope my parents into seeing it this weekend. Or at least my dad. If not, I'll go alone, I guess.
