Poor, poor Sonya. According to the biography she's based on an actual aunt of Tolstoy's, but that doesn't make all the "sterile flower" bits any easier to read.
I haven't, either--though apparently a translation of her autobiography is archived and free to read online, so I should take a look at that--but the biography gives plenty of details, including a couple details from her journals. So, yeah. Definitely not buying the epilogue as the picture of ideal marriages.
