I did! The one I remember was The Smuggler's Treasure, which I think is the one you're talking about? American Girl also did a Girls of Many Lands series that I was really into; my favorite book from that line was Leyla: The Black Tulip, which was about a Georgian girl who's sold to a Turkish harem during the tulip era during the 1700s.
